How it works

Each person has a unique personality, perception, set of values and history, and these aspects come into play, even in our relationships. Here, we try to create a space where both participants of the couple can feel that they are being heard and understood in a non-judgmental way. After sufficient discussions between the couple and the therapist, we learn about what patterns of behavior are affecting the relationship. We then devise an extensive plan that helps in addressing the issues that crop up in the relationship. Couple therapy exercises are discussed and practiced; we try to help you adopt conscious, structural changes that help you to respect and honor each other. We encourage and support you in creating an atmosphere of empathy, mutual consent, mutual understanding, accountability, forgiveness and respect between yourselves.

The progress depends entirely on the willingness and efforts put in by both members of the couple. Typically, the sessions are recommended for several weeks or longer. However, we recommend follow-up visits as and when needed to prevent any form of relapse. Our goal is to empower you, so as to help maintain a sense of intimacy, improve communication and trust.
